      A guard for the trim turnbuckle.

    remove the high mass plastic from the turnbuckle. Safety wire in accordance with 43-13 1B. Install fairleads off adjacent tubing if need be.

      I like the idea, is there a way to securely fasten a fairlead without welding?

    I might put some thin nylon tubing over the cable adjacent to the turnbuckle. Not that big piece. Just my 2 cents worth. Mark

        I think nylon would be preferred for something you know the cable will wear against, at least that's what fairleads are made of so I figure..
