  • Flap / Aileron rib stitching

Can I get advice on what spacing I should use between rib stitching on the flaps and ailerons.
The AC43.13 seems ambiguous the way I'm reading it.

Nev, the manufacturer of your fabric covering process likely has the best guidance on rib stitching. I remember PolyFiber has that in their manual. For the areas in the prop wash, and different for the other places as I recall. Mark

Thanks Mark, the Polyfiber manual explains it very well.

Overkill I'm sure, but I just stitched everything like it was in the prop wash.

Don't try and decipher the explanation of the knot in the PolyFiber manual! Go on line and look at the lady in the YouTube video who explains the "rabbit jumping over the log, palm tree on the island" method .......
