  • Different Rear Seat

Anyone use a different rear seat in their 4-place? Two individual seats would be nice, maybe something like the middle seats out of a C206.

Anyone know the cabin height at the rear seat; height from the floor to the headliner?

Along what line, perpendicular to the floor?

Perpendicular would be good. Just trying to see if there is enough headroom to use something like 206 seats. C180 has ~39" at the rear seat and they use 206 seats via STC.

It is taller in the middle and shorter on the sides. For one reference, the height of the top of our seats cushions is the same as a gallon milk jug, and I can sit there with a headset on. I'll be back to ours this afternoon but I don't have a tape measure. You can probably get really close with the plans.

I don't plan to put a head liner in mine so if I had the plans I could probly figure it out pretty close. I won't have plans till end of December but I'm kinda excited and am caught up in planning what I want to do. You know how it is😄

Depending on how you measure it, quick look at the plans looks like ~40" at the side, 42" at the center. Both at the rear of the seat, more at the front of it.

Thanks! Should be enough room I think.

I just cut my rear seat in half so I could use it as a 3 seater. I hope to post pictures soon.

I'm still looking at options for my rear seat. I plan to weld in the mounts the same as if I was using the bench seat but I want to use individual seat that are adjustable. C206 are too wide and kinda tall. I've been looking at UTV seats and they could work but I'm looking for something really comfortable that will accommodate a car seat and UTV seat don't appear to fit that bill very well.

Think I'm going to start working on mounting the front seats soon so I need to come up with a plan for the rear.
