  • Flap/Trim Wheel Console

Thought I would post a picture of this now that I have the vinyl numbers/letters installed. I really prefer this location for the trim wheel, one of the advantages of scratch building, you can make some small changes that work for you. The covered port is a dual usb plug in.

Rod, I like your wiring pass thru below the stick in the background of the second photo. I predict Rod will get favorable reviews and bring home some extra hardware this summer at Oshkosh. I cant wait to see it in person!

I made a mold using 2" pink foam board and covered with 4 layers of carbon fiber.

Beautiful work. Care to share any details on how you moved the trim system to the floor?

This picture shows the mount I welded to the center tube. I made the pulley mounts at station D and F wider to accommodate two extra pulleys to the left of the elevator cables, using 1 1/2" nylon pulleys for the 1/16th trim cable.
