  • Damaged left wing Bearhawk 4

    Good morning community
My name is Eran and I am a new owner of an Bearhawk 4.
I live in Ecuador and I got my airplane damaged on the way south from Oregon
The airplane is in Redding California
I am looking for help to find ir rebuild a left wing.
Any interest in this project or information about available wing would be very helpful
    Thanks

How bad is the wing? No chance in making it ferryable? I can’t think of anything near Redding that would be helpful. Wish I was closer so I could help.

          Thank you for writing me,
Both spars and flap got banded, many things can be recovered from the wing but unfortunately this wing won't be flying anymore

There are a huge number of RV builders in CA. You might try posting on the VAF Forums for assistance close to where you are. I am 2000 km away.

Thanks, I will try over there, I think it is less important where the wing will be built in the states, the Kit is coming from Mark in Texas the airplane is in Redding, anyway I look on it, there will be ground transportation involved, I hope all of this will be covered by the insurance

Just sent a message to a party that has a left wing. I think he will contact you. If he doesn’t send me a private message and I will put you in contact with him

          Where is the wing located?

I'm in Redding and know a few good mechanics here. If there is anything I can do to help please send me a message. Is the airplane on the ramp or in a hangar? I wouldn't mind driving by to take a look. I'm building a bearhawk 4 and have never actually seen one in person. I have brand new quick build wings still in the crate at the Redding airport.
