Andrew, can you provide some feedback on the tubing kit you got from the Canadian supplier? It is my intention to buy the same kit....

        Thanks!

Vans has an appeal in part because getting started is easy and low cost with their tail kit. The prices from Cartesian Tube of $1350 for the ruder horizontal stab and elevator would be an easy way for a guy to get a start with a Bearhawk. I wonder if Cartesian is considering a tubing kit for the Patrol or LSA?

Cartesian has a tube kit for the patrol. I will most likely buy their kit for the fuselage but when you price their tail kit or controls its much cheaper to buy the parts completely done from the sponsor here. You only get the tube parts from Cartesian so for example the sponsor here sells the HZ stab and elevators for $845 and Cartesian sells Hz stab and elevator tubing kit for $900 + you need to build all the brackets & ribs...

X'N's comment is a good one but I recall Mark Moyle in Alaska pointing out the shipping costs and damage risks may still favor Cartesian. Might be similar in this situation.

No, no. It is very hard work, and such progress because the project team is working.

Keep up the progress! Do you have a goal when both will be complete?

                            Fly and build new aircraft.
Without a goal there is no point in the work, we like that Bearhawk will fly to Russia, this aircraft is very well suited to our conditions.

When you finish your Bearhawks we should all come out to Russia to visit and see your planes. I would love to visit that part of the world someday.
