Yesterday I was finally able to get the right combination of good weather and schedule availability to do our first flight. I flew for about 30 minutes, mostly circling the airport and doing some basic handling validation. All is good so far, with a few minor things to work on in the long term. After a thorough inspection in the middle of the day, I flew again later in the afternoon to test stall performance both level and in turns to the left and right, starting with clean, then flaps 1, then flaps 2. I'll put a much more detailed version in the next Beartracks, which should be ready by the end of the year.

Congratulations Jared - way to go! I am looking forward to hearing your numbers with the 180 hp engine. Do you have a Constant Speed or Fixed Pitch prop?
