Well, I put a deposit on a 4 place fuselage so the dream begins.... located near CEA3, that’s Olds Didsbury. I have a Cherokee 235 that I really like but a grass strip at home has me wanting something that lands a bit slower and takes off a bit shorter...the Bearhawk really fits the bill without sacrificing speed and only a bit of load. So hello to all and I have been reading lots of info. I have a question about this forum and searching, when I use the search box at the top of the page I get a result like a normal google search, how do I just search within the forum?

Welcome! Best way I've found is to go to google search page and type "site: bearhawkforums.com" followed by what you're search terms are.

Forum search goes through Google. If you want to use internal search, use the following:

https://www.bearhawkforums.com/search

To be honest, though, Google is the better option.

Bob, from the troubleshooting standpoint, while the search results were displayed on a Google page, were the results returned only for our site? This would be the expected behavior. We switched it to this method because the forum software's search function wasn't working very well.

Or did the results include the whole internet, meaning the same results that you'd get if you had just typed the words into google.com? I've heard of this second case happening before but I don't think we were able to pinpoint why or when. If it was happening to you that would give us another data point.

Ok I tried again and the top result is an outside website but the rest are all from the forum. Good enough for me. Thanks for the information Jared.
