Has anyone seen an update on endurance of the T3 model for the 4-place?

This appears to be for a tapered rod spring. Is that correct? Airframes Alaska told me they do not have a T3 version for the 4 Place B model, which uses the tapered rod spring. Possibly they have updated?

I have an A model T3 coming. As I understand they have beefed up the side plates (thicker) ect. to support the tail weight at gross. To my knowledge they do not make the T3 for the B model at this time.

My T3 will not be installed till next summer. I will be getting a tunndra wheel from Eric. Mark Scott has been flying a T3 for a while and could possibly give you an earlier review than I.

I’d like to hear from Mark about that. Think you could encourage him to give us fence-sitters a report? Thanks.

Ray, I found his email but didn't get much info. I would order one before the price increases. Plenty of videos on YouTube. Air Frames Alaska has info also, and are the suppliers

                Late Night Discovery!
The Bearhawk spring and tailwheel perch has a 1 1/2" width.
The T3 has a 1 3/4" width at the tailwheel, being to wide for Eric's tail wheel pocket. I emailed Eric, he said his tooling is not setup for an 1 3/4 pocket. I will contact the T3 designer to see if that can be changed to accommodate Eric's tailwheel. I will likely machine 1/8" off each side, it is quite robust there. A different tailwheel could also be used.

I just ordered a tundra from Eric. I will machine the T3 to fit, plenty of material so I have no concerns.

I have the t3 with the tundra lite tail wheel which is 1 1/2. I removed a notch 1/8 X 1/8 on each side which leaves plenty of material
