This appears to be for a tapered rod spring. Is that correct? Airframes Alaska told me they do not have a T3 version for the 4 Place B model, which uses the tapered rod spring. Possibly they have updated?Last edited by robcaldwell; 11-06-2018, 09:32 AM.Rob Caldwell

My T3 will not be installed till next summer. I will be getting a tunndra wheel from Eric. Mark Scott has been flying a T3 for a while and could possibly give you an earlier review than I.

Late Night Discovery!
The Bearhawk spring and tailwheel perch has a 1 1/2" width.
The T3 has a 1 3/4" width at the tailwheel, being to wide for Eric's tail wheel pocket. I emailed Eric, he said his tooling is not setup for an 1 3/4 pocket. I will contact the T3 designer to see if that can be changed to accommodate Eric's tailwheel. I will likely machine 1/8" off each side, it is quite robust there. A different tailwheel could also be used.
