    Can anybody tell me what Varnish or primer to use on my wooden profile ribs. plan on covering with stits. Thanks wes

    Epoxy two part wood varnish for sure. For the solvents in the covering process. Mark

      Brush on epoxy. Epoxy is two part. If it isn't two part it isn't epoxy. Wait a couple of minutes. Wipe as much excess off as possible. Don't use single part varnish or any paint.

        Stits (Poly-Fiber) makes a 2 part epoxy varnish. That's what I used. https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catal...ickkey=7020805

          A guy that’s been covering planes for decades told me to use Polyfibers epoxy varnish.
          Scratch Built 4-place Bearhawk. Continental IO-360, 88" C203 McCauley prop.
