  • Plans ordered!

I think I've been lurking around the Bearhawk scene for 20 years. Finally the stars have aligned and I've ordered the plans for the B model 4 place. I am about to pour a concrete floor in an old barn on the farm, that'll get me a place to put her together over the next few years. I'm also learning to fly in a Supercub, hopefully my skill level will be sufficient to conduct the flight testing on the new plane when she's finished.
I've got some important decisions to make in the next few weeks, mainly around where to start (I'm think fuselage) and which welding style to adopt (I'm leaning toward TIG).
    A milestone!

Congratulations and have fun. When the EAA seminars start running again you might enjoy taking Wyatt Swaim's seminar on TIG. Plenty of YouTube videos in the meantime.

Congratulations. TIG will be the process I use on my fuselage.
