Temporary marking for fine line tapes

Im looking for input once again
. Im using poly fiber aerothone...over shot the insignia white..now need to tape off for santa fe red. Does anyone know what i could use to temporarily mark the white to mask for the red. Thanks again all!!

You are wanting to make reference marks for where to come back and tape? How about little pieces of tape?

If I am understanding you correctly, this is the tape I used to mask between colors to set the break, then masked a wider tape off of that with paper.

Was wondering if there was some kind of marker that would wipe of finished paint to draw temporary marks to help line up final fine line taping.

Marker will definitely show through the paint. Ask me how I know.

I don't think I would risk a marker. Especially when a little piece of tape works so well.
