  • Front Window Hinge Pin

Is the Front Window Hinge Pin just a 3/16 tube with cotter pins in it? Would a clevis pin with one side of the head removed work?
    Thanks

I used Clevis pins with a significant part of the heads cut off. Never thought of using a tube…

A healthy portion of the clevis pin's head diameter can be reduced so the pin will slide into the hinge tube. Chuck the clevis pin into a drill then spin it with the head contacting a file or grinding wheel.

Thought I made my window hinges per plans, the 3/16" clevis pins fit with a full head.

Yes a Clevis Pin is the tidy solution. I didn't need to remove any of the head

I just used a Big A** cotter-pin exactly the same as wheel bearing nut cotter pin….
