I had a chance to fly in it with the builder many years ago. He sold it to another fellow who I spoke with at Oshkosh last summer. I wonder if he still owned it at the time of the mishap?

Looks like it's had several accidents according to the ASN history.

it all most looks fairly repairable. Wing looks fine - struts look untouched. tail looks fine. Prob some mangled lower longerons-----
wonder if he hit a shallow ditch ? You would think if it was groundloop induced -- the gear would both be bent to the same side......
