The prototype Model 5 got 31" Bushwheels installed today along with the Tundra tailwheel (which was on previously). To get some attention at OSH. They say you need a step ladder to get in it now. Mark Macho 5.jpg

I was thinking the exact same thing. Starting to look like a scaled down Porter.

Cool, that will sell some airplanes. Maybe we should get some on the Companion

Where have I heard that before? lol.

When the Mod5 makes 31's look small, you know it's big. :)

It's a shame that plane cannot be used for commercial endeavors. It could improve/save a lot of lives. Needs a turbine engine, avgas scarce where this plane is really needed. Just think of how much medicine you could stuff in one of these beasts

The Europeans seem to be leading on this. But the engine has to be designed as a package. Engine, gearbox, prop. Turbines make no sense below the Flight Levels. They make sense where Avgas is 7-12 dollars a gallon. If Avgas is available and 1/2 that, they don't make sense.

What about the crop duster flight levels?

Just solidified the decision to put ours on 31's. Itching to fly now.
