Rudder Cable Fairing

I am in search of a metal fairing for the rudder cables where they exit the fuselage. Wicks and Spruce both have molded ABS plastic, anyone know of metal ones? My buddy has metal fairings on his Carbon Cub and I intended to do the same if I can find them.

I had thought about using them but then just ended up cutting very small hole in the fabric. It worked great! But if you really want some fairings you could probably form them pretty fast out of soft aluminum around something like a screwdriver or other round object in the 1/4-1/2" diameter range.

I read a “tutorial” in KitPlanes on making them. Still prefer to take the easy route and buy ready made if possible. My fall back will be the ABS

I think that is the one or similar to my buddy’s. It is a bit oversized and he said he trimmed it down. Thanks

Yes, I just trimmed them a bit. I was going to make my own but I realized that I would probably spend way more than $16 in time trying to get mine unnecessarily perfect.
