Wow, Mark, that is a fantastic looking paint job and a beautiful aircraft! I'm just down the road down in Huntsville. If you are up for it, I would love to come by and see your plane when you have some time. Nice looking grass strip you have as well.

                    Pictures of Grumpy’s Bearhawk Patrol.

Stopped by Mark’s workshop and airstrip yesterday to check out his beautiful Patrol! Thanks for the invite Mark and taking the time to answer all of my questions. Here are some pics, he gave me permission to share here. He had just gotten back from flying and was tweaking a few things. Excellent craftsmanship, this was a plans built aircraft, his third I believe he said. Lycoming O-360, he said the airplane flies great. Enjoy!

Wow, what a pretty airplane! Did you get any pictures of it outside that we could use for the calendar?

jaredyates It is indeed a beautifully built aircraft. Regarding the pics, he had the cowl off and it was in the hangar while I was visiting. If you reach out to him he would likely to be willing to take a pic outside in the sun on his grass strip.

Really beautiful and inspiring. Curious what you did for cabin ventilation, I'm not seeing any inlets.

The windows open in flight! Mark did mention he might put Cessna style vents if needed later.
