  • Bearhawk "XHawk" Patrol

Ladies and Gentlemen, the XHawk has landed—after taking off like a homesick angel.

Shortly before first flight, an A&P and a fellow pilot asked if I'd ever flown a Bearhawk before. When I said no, they were surprised. It's probably thanks to all your testimonials and flight reports that I ordered the kit without ever getting a ride in one. Well, I'm glad you didn't BS me. The Bearhawk is a wonderful flying machine. I could tell within minutes, which I confirmed again when I flared a bit too high and the landing gear simply soaked it up like nothing.

I'll write up more about the first flights later. Here are some pictures for now.

Folks, when Stefan says "It did not disappoint." it means it exceeded his expectations. Another Patrol flying brings a big smile to my face!
